The Fandangos represent an entire branch of the flamenco tree. The Fandango de Huelva originated from the town of Huelva and grew from the necessity to add meter to what was originally a "toque libre" or freely played style that had no fixed time signature. In other words, the dancers wanted to dance to it!

Fandango de Huelva

I finally got around to watching my videos from June 2011 at Dalhousie University, and I've kept all but 2 of them. This Fandango de Huelva has lots of solid traditional falsetas, but as usual I got a little overexcited and it's just a touch too fast LOL.
